PHL - Philadelphia, PA - Food Service Employee- AM Shift (6AM-2:30PM)-PHL

Brief Description of Duties:

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English and poses basic Math skills

• Must be able to work around moving parts & wet floors

• Must be able to work in cold environment with a constant 38-40 degree temperature for up to 8 hours+ a day with appropriate insulated clothing

• Must be able to stand on a daily basis for 8 hours a day

• Must be able to use fingers & hands to handle equipment

• Must apply effective Food Hygiene practices

• Must have ability to apply safety and sanitation standards

• Strong analytical, verbal, written, interpersonal and organizational skills

• Must be able to walk/stoop/bend/stand for entire work shift

• Must have good organizational skills and adaptable to frequent changes

• Must be flexible to work in a 24/7 environment ( nights, weekends, holidays)

• Must have ability to use knives, cutting board, mobile shelving, carts, meat slicer, and related industrial kitchen equipment.

Required Abilities:

• May assist with assembling and packing raw and/or cooked food items in accordance with specifications and USDA/FDA/HACCP standards

• Performs job duties in a timely manner to ensure smooth and efficient production flow

• Washes, cleans, and cuts raw food products in accordance with established Company and Customer procedures

• Maintains proper temperatures of all food products

• Ensures all food products are properly labeled, dated, and rotated (FIFO)

• Assumes other related duties as required

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Must be in current position for 60 days. Good attendance record

• Must have excellent communications skills, both written and oral

• Must have ability to work under pressure while maintaining composure

• Must be a team player
