EHS Client Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an EHS Client Manager based in United States.

As an EHS Client Manager, you will play a pivotal role in advancing environmental, health, and safety initiatives across multiple operational sites. Working in a dynamic, remote environment with significant travel, you will partner with field leaders and stakeholders to strengthen safety culture, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement. This role combines strategic planning with hands-on field support, offering the opportunity to influence business operations while protecting employees and promoting best practices. Accountabilities:
  • Lead the implementation and ongoing management of environmental, health, and safety (EHS) programs across an assigned business segment.
  • Provide expert guidance on hazard identification, risk mitigation, regulatory compliance, safety training, and workplace safety initiatives.
  • Conduct incident investigations, risk assessments, audits, inspections, and site walkthroughs while developing corrective action plans to address identified gaps.
  • Partner with operational leaders to implement safety improvements that reduce workplace hazards and strengthen organizational safety culture.
  • Coach, mentor, and support field management teams on EHS best practices, compliance requirements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor EHS performance metrics, analyze trends, and implement data-driven strategies to improve safety outcomes and operational performance.
  • Ensure facilities remain inspection-ready by supporting compliance assurance programs and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Identify and implement best practices that enhance safety performance across multiple locations and operational environments.
  • Respond to emergency situations by providing timely guidance and support to internal stakeholders.
  • Build strong relationships across all levels of the organization to align EHS initiatives with broader business objectives.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) role.
  • Strong knowledge of EHS regulations, compliance standards, hazard controls, risk assessments, and safety program implementation.
  • Proven ability to integrate EHS strategies into broader operational and business objectives.
  • Experience conducting incident investigations, audits, inspections, and developing corrective action plans.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse audiences.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with a collaborative approach to influencing stakeholders and driving organizational change.
  • Ability to analyze safety metrics and use data to guide decision-making and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Preferred Environmental Health and Safety professional certification and/or a bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a remote work environment.
