Project Manager

Job Summary:

The Project Manager oversees the planning, execution, and successful completion of projects within multiple departments. This role involves managing cross-functional teams, coordinating resources, tracking project progress, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality results within specified deadlines and budgets. The Project Manager will collaborate closely with stakeholders, communicate project status, and mitigate any risks or issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed project plans, including tasks, timelines, and resource allocation.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables.

  • Identify project dependencies and create contingency plans for potential risks.

  • Assemble and lead cross-functional project teams, assigning tasks and responsibilities.

  • Motivate and guide team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

  • Provide clear direction and ensure team members understand their roles and priorities.

  • Monitor project progress, track key milestones, and ensure timeline adherence.

  • Proactively address any issues that may arise during project execution, making necessary adjustments to keep the project on track.

  • Regularly communicate project status updates to stakeholders, highlighting achievements, challenges, and risks.

  • Manage project resources effectively, including budget allocation, staffing, and equipment.

  • Optimize resource utilization to achieve project goals efficiently and within budget.

  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.

  • Escalate critical issues to senior management as needed.

  • Conduct post-project reviews to assess successes and areas for improvement.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in business administration or a relevant field

  • 5-10 years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of successfully leading and delivering projects on time and within budget.

  • Management experience required.

  • New Project Implementation experience preferred.

  • Proficiency in project management systems and tools.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

The pay range for this position is $94,836-$117,588 annually. The base pay offered may vary depending on the position offered, geographic location, education, training, and/or experience.
