This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Dev Python Pleno - Segmento Tecnologia based in Brazil.
This role is focused on building and evolving intelligent automation solutions within a digital transformation environment, with a strong emphasis on Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and backend engineering using Python. You will work on developing robust production-ready bots capable of operating in complex and unstable legacy systems, ensuring reliability, resilience, and performance. The position requires a strong engineering mindset, with attention to defensive programming, error handling, and system stability at scale. You will be part of a collaborative, agile team that values technical excellence, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing. A key aspect of the role is reducing UI dependency by leveraging APIs and backend integrations whenever possible. Develop and maintain robust automation solutions and RPA bots, ensuring high reliability, scalability, and resilience in production environments:
- Build and maintain production-grade RPA bots capable of handling unstable systems, legacy interfaces, and unexpected UI behaviors
- Apply defensive programming practices, including retries, validations, and failure recovery mechanisms
- Prioritize backend integrations and API-based automation over UI-based solutions to improve stability and performance
- Develop structured, clear, and standardized logging systems to ensure full traceability of executions
- Differentiate and handle system exceptions and business rule exceptions appropriately within automation flows
- Work with automation testing tools and frameworks to ensure quality and robustness of solutions
- Collaborate with agile teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable automation solutions
- Contribute to continuous improvement of development practices, architecture, and delivery processes
The ideal candidate has strong Python development skills combined with experience in automation, data handling, and system integration, working effectively in agile environments:
- Strong proficiency in Python development
- Solid experience with SQL and relational databases
- Experience with Oracle Database environments
- Knowledge of automation and testing tools such as Selenium and BotCity
- Experience integrating and consuming REST and SOAP APIs
- Familiarity with agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban
- Strong understanding of system reliability, error handling, and automation best practices
- Ability to work in collaborative, fast-paced technical teams
