Job Description

As a dealership photographer, your job is to take images of vehicles for the company website. This role often involves taking pictures of new and used inventory and accurately uploading the photos to the company's website. In this role, you may need to take each photograph within specific parameters set out by your dealership. The job entails being indoors and outdoors through various types of weather, as well as transporting vehicles to and from the photograph location.

Key duties and responsibilities include:

  • Set up and adjust necessary equipment, such as cameras, lenses, filters, and lighting, to achieve the desired photographic effects.
  • Photograph vehicles from various angles and ensure that the interior, exterior, and undercarriage are appropriately showcased.
  • Edit and retouch photographs to improve the overall quality, correct lighting and color, and remove any distracting elements.
  • Make sure photos are clear, well lit, and free of distracting backgrounds or reflections.

  • Operate and maintain camera equipment, lighting, and dealership photo booth.

  • Keep the photography area clean, organized, and ready for incoming vehicles.
