Production Lead – 2nd Shift

Location: Lake in the Hills, IL
Schedule: Monday-Friday 3pm-11:30pm (training on 1st shift for 4 weeks)
Compensation: $25.00 - $30.00/hr + $2.50 Shift Differential

We are seeking a Production Lead to support our Coating department by operating coating equipment, maintaining quality standards, and providing leadership and direction to the team. This role combines hands-on production responsibilities with team coordination to ensure safety, efficiency, and high-quality output.

What You'll Do

• Perform all duties of a Machine Operator III.
• Lead and support operators to ensure safe, efficient production.
• Train and cross-train team members on equipment and processes.
• Oversee job setup and verify correct materials and mixes.
• Monitor production quality and make necessary adjustments.
• Record and report shift data, including quality and downtime.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Prepare PTFE mixes accurately and on time.
• Foster a positive, team-focused environment.
• Ensure ERP inventory transactions are completed correctly.
• Rotate workstations as needed.
• Lead training efforts and drive continuous improvement.

What You'll Bring

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (or team-lift up to 100 lbs)
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn internal systems
• Willingness to obtain forklift certification
• Prior manufacturing or coating experience
