Position Summary:

To provide supervision of staff who provide individual and family therapy for children, adults and their families according to intervention strategies approved by Agape Network and Medicaid.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor and review the completion of all paperwork such as biopsychosocial assessments, treatment plans, treatment plan reviews, Mental Health Outcomes, CFARS/FARS, ASAM, FASAMS.
  2. Check email communication daily and respond within 24 hours.
  3. Daily review of progress notes for assigned staff.
  4. Daily review of diagnostic data to reduce medical errors.
  5. Review of TBOS authorizations.
  6. Review of outgoing supporting documentation, court, DCF, MSP, DJJ reports and other agencies involved in the continuity of care of clients.
  7. Daily maintenance and updating of the staff case load.
  8. Clinical supervision to be scheduled weekly, biweekly.
  9. Review and track productivity weekly for assigned staff.
  10. Conduct orientation to new staff.
  11. Perform annual evaluations with assigned staff.
  12. Availability and on call status for emergency situations that require immediate consultation: i.e. Baker Acts, Police calls, DCF reports, safety concerns.
  13. Weekly collection of signature pages, informed consents, school consent forms, and time sensitive documentation relevant to the completion of the agencies standard and protocols.
  14. Ensuring timely renewal of license and completion of continuing education certificates including HIPPA, CPR, and Relias training.
  15. Monitor batch errors in electronic health record.
  16. Perform peer review audits of staff caseload.
  17. Perform other duties assigned by Outpatient Therapist Supervisor and others.
Requirements:

Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, Counseling or Social Work, or Mental Health Counseling. Licensed in the state of Florida in Mental Health/Social Work/ or Marriage and Family Counseling required. Plus, one-year experience working with severely emotionally disturbed individuals served or individuals with co-occurring disorders. Computer skills required.
