BILINGUAL REFERRAL COORDINATOR
Recovia is seeking a full-time BILINGUAL REFERRAL COORDINATOR for our corporate office in Midtown Phoenix at 337 E. Coronado Rd #201, Phoenix, AZ. 85004.

HOURS: FULL-TIME, Monday - Friday, 9:00 to 6:00pm (1 hour for lunch)
LOCATION: IN-PERSON, Midtown Phoenix Clinic: 337 E Coronado Rd, Phoenix AZ 85004 (Cross roads are 7th Street and McDowell)
PAY: $19.00 HOUR

Responsibilities of Bilingual Referral Coordinator:
Serves as the primary point of contact for patients and third-party affiliates that are participating in the Recovia program as well as performs a wide range of administrative and clinical duties directly related to clinic. This role oversees patient scheduling, clinical resources, and all administrative duties during program.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Handling a high volume of inbound and outbound calls
- Responsible for the tracking, coordination and communication of patient referrals
- Ensures complete and accurate patient registration, including demographics and current insurance information
- Handles requests from third party referral sources and provides relevant information and data
- Serves as point person for multidisciplinary evaluation process to include patient scheduling, third party communications, and internal communications
- Assembles information concerning patient’s clinical background and referral needs
- Contacts insurance companies to ensure verification of benefits and prior authorization approval requirements are met
- Reviews details and expectation of referral with the potential patient
- Assists patients in problem solving potential issues related financial or social barriers (e.g., request interpreters as appropriate, transportation services, etc.)
- Ensures that referrals are addressed in a timely manner
- Reminds patients of scheduled appointment
- Communication with referral sources to ensure patient information/ registration is complete
- Communicates patient updates between program and referring source

Requirements:QUALIFICATIONS:
- MUST BE COMFORTABLE with daily high incoming and outgoing call volume and referral processing
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills - comfortable with communicating over the phone
- Excellent listening skills
- Previous medical scheduling experience preferred
- Verification of Benefits/Insurance Authorization Experience a plus
- Excellent customer service and organizational skills
- Ability to make independent decisions relative to essential job duties
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Proficient in EMR systems
- Two years of relevant experience
