Summary of Working as the Intervention Services Supervisor: The Intervention Services Supervisor is responsible for supervising assigned staff and assisting in the management of assigned programs while demonstrating an ability to apply trauma-informed principles and integrating them into daily practice.
Work Schedule: 37.5 hours/week+
Location: 1500 Fort Jesse Rd Normal, IL
Pay: Starting salary of $72,125/yr
BONUS: $1500 bonus for current CWEL in good standing
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Administrative Supervision of Staff: Responsible for assigned staff, including employment, training, supervision, support and performance feedback, including timely completion of performance evaluations. Ensures that agency standards are met for the delivery of services to clients. Ensures compliance with Baby Fold and Illinois Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) policies, procedures, and rules and with all relevant state and federal laws.
- Clinical Supervision of Staff: Ensures that sound clinical decisions are made in the provision of services
- Program Management: Coordinates the processes of referral, intake, acceptance, service delivery, and discharge related to assigned program areas. Participates in quality assurance and program evaluation.
- Candidates will be required to enroll in a graduate social/human services program and complete course work in 3 years from enrollment.
- Master's of Social Work degree or an academically equivalent Master’s degree in a human service preferred, with 2 years of full-time supervisory experience in a social work setting.
2. DCFS Foundations trained and eligible for obtaining a Child Welfare Employment License (CWEL) upon hire. Current CWEL license in good standing preferred.
3. Knowledge and skills necessary to apply the principles of child welfare and mental health treatment to specific cases.
4. Knowledge of human behavior and individual differences in ability, personality, interests, learning and motivation.
5. Demonstrated skills in Microsoft Outlook and Word, as well as the ability to learn DCFS documentation software.
