At Atlantic Emergency Solutions, our Outside Parts Sales Representatives help keep fire departments, EMS agencies, and municipalities running by providing the parts they need to keep their emergency vehicles on the road. You'll build relationships with existing customers, identify their parts needs, and provide outstanding service while supporting our Service Centers. This position offers stable hours, a Monday through Friday schedule, and local travel with no overnight stays. We are committed to providing consistent hours and a predictable schedule so you can plan your life outside of work.

Schedule:

· Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

· Local travel to customer locations several days per week, no overnight travel required

· No rotating shifts

· Paid holidays, no waiting period

Work Environment:

· Based out of our Service Center with regular travel to customer locations throughout the assigned territory

· Combination of office, parts department, and customer site visit

· Fast paced environment supporting fire trucks, ambulances, and other emergency response vehicles

Key Job Duties:

· Build and maintain relationships with existing customers through regular phone calls and in-person visits

· Contact customers to discuss parts specials, promotions, and identify upcoming parts needs

· Evaluate customer requirements and recommend the appropriate replacement parts and solutions

· Research and locate parts using manufacturer catalogs, vendor resources, and internal systems

· Prepare accurate parts quotes and assist customers throughout the ordering process

· Process customer orders, invoices, purchase orders, and related documentation using CDK

· Issue purchase orders to vendors and monitor order status to ensure timely delivery

· Post vendor invoices and maintain accurate records within CDK

· Coordinate with vendors, customers, and Service Center personnel to resolve parts inquiries and order issues

· Provide outstanding customer service while supporting technicians and Service Center operations

· Maintain product knowledge on emergency vehicle parts and equipment

Requirements:

What we're looking for:

· Experience in parts sales, outside sales, customer service, or a related industry

· Strong communication and relationship-building skills

· Experience using CDK or similar dealership management software preferred

· Mechanically inclined with the ability to understand vehicle parts and customer needs

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office

· Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record

· Ability to pass pre-employment screening

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

· This position requires a combination of office work, driving, and customer visits throughout the assigned territory.

· Regular sitting, standing, walking, bending, and occasional lifting of parts up to approximately 40 pounds may be required.

· Work includes exposure to typical shop conditions such as noise, grease, odors, and occasional outdoor weather while visiting customer facilities or Service Centers.
