Our Program and Construction Management division has an need for a Construction Superintendent to oversee a site work project located in Montauk, NY.

Recently, Global Infrastructure Solutions Inc. (GISI), the parent company of The LiRo Group and Hill International, Inc. consolidated a portion of the highly experienced staff of both LiRo and Hill in the Northeast to create a larger, more efficient, and cost-effective team to serve clients. LiRo-Hill is a 1100-person firm with offices in NYC, Long Island, Buffalo, Rochester, Boston and Metro Park, NJ.
Responsibilities
The Construction Superintendent is responsible for managing all on-site construction activities from project start through completion. This role ensures projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with company standards, contract documents, and applicable building codes. The Superintendent works closely with project managers, subcontractors, clients, and inspectors to deliver high-quality results.
- Manage daily construction site operations and oversee all field personnel.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers.
- Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure timely completion.
- Enforce safety policies and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards.
- Conduct daily site inspections to monitor quality, productivity, and workmanship.
- Review construction drawings, specifications, and project documents to ensure compliance.
- Identify and resolve field issues, conflicts, and delays.
- Coordinate inspections with local authorities and ensure all required permits are maintained.
- Maintain accurate daily reports, progress updates, and project documentation.
- Monitor labor, equipment, and material usage to control project costs.
- Communicate project status with the Project Manager, owners, architects, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure all work meets quality standards and client expectations.
- Assist with project closeout, punch lists, and final inspections.
Qualifications
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of construction supervision experience (experience requirements may vary based on project size).
- Strong knowledge of commercial and/or residential construction methods.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
- Thorough understanding of OSHA safety regulations and industry best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software (such as Procore, Bluebeam, or Primavera P6) is preferred.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

- We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a positive work environment
- Compensation: Minimum: $165,000; Maximum: $185,000
- The range provided is the salary that the Firm in good faith believes at the time of this posting is willing to pay for the advertised position. Exact compensation will be determined on the individual candidate’s qualifications and location.
