Tiffin Aire is based at the Seneca County Airport. Founded in 1968 by Dwight and Jeanne Gnepper. It began with only three employees, two single engine aircraft, two hangars, and an office. By 1996 Tiffin Aire offered aircraft charter, flight instruction and rental, aircraft sales, aircraft maintenance, parts and oil sales, and propeller/governor sales and service. De-ice boot sales/installation and the Tiffin Aire Tug were added to the company product line in later years. Tiffin Aire is now owned by Hartzell Propeller, LLC out of Piqua, Ohio.

Key Responsibilities:
The Production Manager is accountable for production planning, staffing, scheduling, workflow, productivity, quality, delivery, labor utilization, and continuous improvement. The position partners closely with Site Leadership, Quality, Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, and other functional teams to ensure the operation meets business and customer objectives. This individual in this position is expected to lead through accountability, coaching, technical knowledge, sound business judgment, and strong communication while developing a high-performing team and fostering a culture of safety, quality, ownership, and continuous improvement.
All roles at Signia are expected to support the company’s operating model (SOAR) and contribute to the organization’s business value drivers, Profitable New Business, Productivity, Precision M&A, and Value-Based Pricing, through operational excellence, continuous improvement, collaboration, and customer focus.

2) Safe and compliant execution of all MRO production activities.
3) Effective production planning, scheduling, staffing, and resource utilization.

5) Consistent achievement of customer commitments and turnaround-time expectations.
6) Effective management of labor, materials, equipment, and production capacity.
7) Accurate production forecasting and communication of operational risks and constraints.
8) Improved productivity, efficiency, quality, and profitability through continuous improvement.
9) Effective collaboration with Site Leadership and cross-functional partners.
10) Development of a high-performing production organization capable of supporting current and future business growth.
