This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Director of Consultant Relations – Central Territory based in the United States.

This senior commercial role will lead strategic relationships with major benefits consulting and brokerage firms across the Central territory.
You will own territory strategy, executive engagement, and consultant influence with a direct focus on pipeline growth and new business.
The role requires deep knowledge of the employer health benefits ecosystem and the ability to navigate complex consulting organizations.
You will work closely with Sales, Customer Success, and senior leadership to accelerate enterprise opportunities and strengthen market positioning.
A key part of the role is translating clinical outcomes, AI capabilities, and market insights into compelling consultant-facing value propositions.
You will also create strategic events, executive briefings, and co-selling initiatives that turn relationships into measurable commercial outcomes.
This is an opportunity to shape how an innovative AI-enabled healthcare solution is evaluated and recommended by influential industry partners.

Accountabilities:
  • Develop and execute a multi-threaded Central territory strategy focused on building executive consultant relationships, increasing influence, and generating high-value, consultant-referred pipeline.
  • Expand executive-level relationships across priority national and regional consulting and brokerage offices, establishing strong preference and increasing inclusion in client evaluations.
  • Map and cultivate relationships with practice leaders, subject-matter experts, regional influencers, and other key stakeholders across major benefits consulting practices.
  • Equip consultants with compelling, differentiated messaging through executive briefings, clinical impact updates, market insights, and consultant-ready materials.
  • Partner closely with Sales and Customer Success leadership to develop co-selling strategies, align messaging, and accelerate enterprise opportunities throughout the buyer journey.
  • Lead participation in consulting-firm vendor programs and organize executive alignment sessions focused on market trends, client needs, and shared growth opportunities.
  • Design and execute strategic regional events, executive roundtables, and other relationship-building activities that deepen consultant engagement and generate measurable pipeline.
  • Maintain rigorous CRM discipline in Salesforce, ensuring accurate tracking of consultant activity, influence, opportunity attribution, pipeline progression, and forecasts.
  • Monitor territory performance and relationship health, using commercial metrics and market intelligence to identify opportunities for deeper engagement and growth.
  • Serve as a senior ambassador for an AI-enabled healthcare solution, articulating its clinical, business, and customer value to influential industry stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Direct experience working at or extensively interfacing with WTW, Aon, Mercer, or Lockton, with a strong understanding of their internal consulting structures, stakeholder networks, and evaluation processes.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in consultant relations, benefits consulting, strategic partnerships, or commercial alliance management within the employer health benefits industry.
  • Demonstrated success building high-impact executive relationships that translate into measurable revenue, qualified pipeline, strategic partnerships, or preferred-vendor positioning.
  • Strong business development and multi-threading capabilities, with the ability to navigate complex enterprise organizations and build relationships across multiple levels and functions.
  • Executive-level communication and presentation skills, including the ability to explain complex clinical, healthcare, and AI-enabled value propositions clearly and persuasively.
  • Strong commercial judgment and an ability to connect relationship-building activities to tangible business outcomes.
  • Experience developing and executing territory strategies, co-selling programs, executive engagements, and strategic market initiatives.
  • Strong operational discipline and comfort working in a metrics-driven environment, including advanced CRM hygiene, pipeline management, forecasting, and performance tracking in Salesforce.
  • Exceptional relationship-building, influencing, negotiation, storytelling, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, and executive leadership in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States is required; immigration or work visa sponsorship is not provided.
  • Strong AI fluency is expected, with candidates demonstrating at least an Explorer-level ability to use AI to improve their day-to-day productivity. More senior candidates may be expected to demonstrate experience building AI-enabled workflows or integrating AI into broader business processes.
Benefits:
  • $177,100–$278,300 annual compensation range, including base, variable compensation, and equity.
  • Equity participation and potential private-company stock options, subject to applicable terms.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance.

  • Health Savings Account (HSA).
  • 401(k) retirement plan.
  • Financial advisory services.
  • Discretionary paid time off (PTO).
  • Paid company holidays.
  • Parental leave.
  • Flexible working hours.
  • Remote-first work environment.
  • Free digital therapy for employees and their families.
  • Compensation may be adjusted based on skills, qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
