You will take ownership of content planning, creative execution, and campaign delivery across multiple client accounts and brand channels.
Working closely with senior leaders and subject-matter experts, you will transform complex ideas into clear, engaging, and commercially relevant content.
Your work will span written content, thought leadership, social campaigns, visual assets, short-form video, and repurposed marketing materials.
You will combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution, managing projects from initial concept through delivery and optimization.
The role is ideal for a creative, commercially aware marketer who enjoys variety, autonomy, and working across multiple industries and audiences.
As the marketing function grows, you will also have opportunities to improve processes, experiment with new formats, and expand your scope.

Accountabilities
  • Own content planning, strategy execution, and delivery across multiple client accounts and internal brand channels.
  • Develop original content concepts, creative angles, hooks, campaign messaging, and ideas aligned with business and growth objectives.
  • Write high-quality social media copy, long-form articles, blogs, thought-leadership pieces, and other marketing content for specific audiences.
  • Ghostwrite content and messaging for directors, co-founders, and subject-matter experts while accurately reflecting their individual voices and perspectives.
  • Create and edit visual assets, graphics, and short-form video content to support campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Conduct structured interviews with clients and technical specialists to capture insights and transform complex information into accessible, engaging content.
  • Repurpose podcasts, workshops, articles, videos, and other long-form materials into multiple marketing formats.
  • Manage campaign timelines, coordinate freelancers or other support resources, and ensure deliverables are completed on schedule.
  • Research industry trends, competitors, target markets, and audience behavior to identify new content and campaign opportunities.
  • Monitor campaign and content performance, interpret relevant metrics, and use insights to improve future creative strategies.
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of internal content workflows, processes, and delivery frameworks as operations scale.
Requirements
  • Approximately 4–6+ years of experience in content marketing, creative marketing, integrated marketing, or a related role, either agency-side or in-house.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating creative range across written, visual, and video content.
  • Proven copywriting skills across multiple formats, audiences, and marketing channels.
  • Experience planning, executing, and managing multi-channel content initiatives from concept through delivery.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate commercial objectives, strategic goals, or broad briefs into high-quality creative output.
  • Strong research and analytical capabilities, with the ability to quickly understand complex, technical, or specialist subject matter.
  • Experience using marketing technology and AI-powered tools to support content creation, research, production, or workflow efficiency.
  • Strong project-management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts, priorities, and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong editorial judgment.
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership, and balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
  • Experience working in a marketing agency environment and managing multiple client accounts is advantageous.
  • B2B thought-leadership experience is preferred.
  • Exposure to the built environment, construction, engineering, property, or other technical sectors is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with tools such as ClickUp, Adobe Creative Suite, Claude or other large language models, and Riverside.fm is a plus.
Benefits

  • Fully remote work arrangement.
  • Competitive remuneration of R300 per hour.
  • Direct access to co-founders and senior client leadership teams.
  • High degree of creative autonomy and ownership.
  • Opportunity to experiment with new content formats, creative approaches, and AI-enabled workflows.
  • Exposure to a diverse range of client accounts, industries, audiences, and marketing challenges.
  • Opportunity to expand responsibilities and working hours as the marketing operation grows.
