This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Director – AI Evidence Registry based in the United States.

This leadership role will shape a structured, AI-ready body of clinical evidence designed for both healthcare professionals and large language models.
You will define how clinical evidence is organized, standardized, validated, and maintained across a growing portfolio.
The position sits at the intersection of clinical informatics, data science, pharmaceutical evidence, and emerging AI technologies.
You will collaborate with business, legal, regulatory, data, and technology teams to establish scalable evidence standards and quality controls.
A key focus will be ensuring that externally shared evidence is accurate, current, appropriately disclosed, and aligned with non-promotional requirements.
The role offers an opportunity to influence how trusted clinical information is retrieved and interpreted in increasingly AI-enabled healthcare environments.
You will also contribute technical leadership by establishing standards and mentoring colleagues across a multidisciplinary organization.

Accountabilities
  • Develop and maintain a structured corpus of clinical evidence optimized for accurate retrieval, interpretation, and use by large language models and human readers.

  • Define data structures, evidence standards, quality requirements, and governance processes that enable the registry to scale across a broad portfolio.

  • Partner with business units and relevant cross-functional teams to establish consistent approaches to evidence management, validation, and ongoing maintenance.

  • Determine which clinical evidence is eligible for external release, collaborating with legal and regulatory stakeholders to confirm disclosure status and compliance with applicable non-promotional standards.

  • Maintain and refresh the evidence registry as new clinical findings and other relevant evidence become available.

  • Translate clinical and data requirements into clear specifications that can be implemented by software engineering and data engineering teams.

  • Establish technical standards and contribute expertise across multidisciplinary teams, including through mentoring and knowledge sharing.

  • Support the development of AI-enabled approaches for delivering validated, current clinical evidence to healthcare professionals and other users.

Requirements
  • Master’s degree in Data Science, Clinical Informatics, Computer Science, Biostatistics, Bioinformatics, or a related technical discipline.

  • At least 8 years of professional experience in data science, statistical programming, biostatistics, clinical informatics, or a closely related field.

  • At least 5 years of experience within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, healthcare provider, or comparable healthcare environments.

  • Experience authoring data specifications or interface specifications used by software engineering or data engineering teams.

  • Experience producing analysis datasets, tables, figures, and listings from clinical trial data for regulatory submissions or scientific publications.

  • Knowledge of CDISC data standards, including SDTM, ADaM, and CDISC controlled terminology.

  • Experience with linked data or semantic web standards such as JSON-LD, RDF, OWL, or SHACL, including vocabulary and schema design.

  • Strong understanding of clinical evidence, data quality, information structures, and the requirements for making complex evidence accessible and machine-readable.

  • Ability to establish technical standards, influence cross-functional stakeholders, and mentor technical professionals without direct reporting authority.

  • Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to operate effectively across scientific, technical, business, legal, and regulatory functions.

Benefits
  • Base salary range of $177,000–$308,000, with actual compensation dependent on education, experience, skills, and geographic location.

  • Eligibility for a company bonus program based partly on organizational and individual performance.

  • Comprehensive benefits package for eligible full-time employees.

  • 401(k) plan and pension benefits.

  • Vacation and paid leave benefits.

  • Medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug coverage.

  • Flexible benefits that may include healthcare and dependent-care support.

  • Life insurance and death benefits.

  • Employee assistance, fitness, clubs, and other wellbeing and employee programs.

  • Equal employment opportunity and workplace accommodation support.

  • U.S.-based, off-site work arrangement.
