Job Description
The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for building and managing the product marketing function for Dream, Vivacity’s software platform. This role owns Dream’s positioning, messaging, product launch communication, competitive intelligence, sales enablement, customer marketing, and marketing performance reporting.
The Product Marketing Manager works closely with Product, Engineering, Design, Sales, Customer Success, Operations, and corporate Marketing to translate product capabilities into clear customer value. This role ensures every meaningful software release is supported by effective internal enablement and external communication, while developing the website, content, campaigns, webinars, customer proof, and lifecycle programs that drive new signups and activated organizations.
This is a hands-on role for someone who can develop strategy, create high-quality content, coordinate cross-functional launches, execute campaigns, and measure results.

Essential Functions
- Own Dream’s product positioning, messaging, target audiences, value proposition, go-to-market narrative, and competitive intelligence within the K-12 technology market
- Lead product marketing for customer-visible releases by coordinating launch tiers, internal enablement, release notes, visual one-pagers, demonstrations, customer communication, website updates, webinars, and post-launch reporting
- Build and maintain sales enablement resources, including the Dream Sales Playbook, presentations, collateral, demonstration videos, battlecards, comparison materials, objection handling, and sales-led email content
- Own Dream’s external marketing calendar and recurring cadence across customer email, webinars, website and search content, lifecycle campaigns, customer education, reviews, case studies, conferences, and relevant community channels
- Partner with Product and Engineering to incorporate marketing readiness into sprint and release planning and improve product-led growth through onboarding, activation, expansion, referral, and re-engagement programs
- Define and report the Dream marketing funnel, lead the weekly scorecard review, identify actionable performance gaps, and recommend experiments that increase signups, activated organizations, expansion, referrals, and hardware-customer adoption
- Collaborate with corporate Marketing and cross-functional partners on customer segmentation, communication governance, service alerts, brand standards, shared campaigns, events, customer research, training, and representation of Dream in selected customer and industry settings
- Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Strong product positioning, messaging, competitive research, and value-proposition development skills
- Excellent writing, editing, presentation, and facilitation skills, with the ability to translate technical software capabilities into accurate and compelling content for customers, Sales, and internal teams
- Demonstrated ability to manage software launches and create effective sales enablement and customer-facing materials across web, email, presentations, webinars, release notes, product demonstrations, and customer stories
- Strong analytical skills with experience defining funnel metrics, evaluating marketing and product performance, and connecting activity to signups, activation, adoption, expansion, and referrals
- Working knowledge of product-led growth, lifecycle marketing, content and search strategy, conversion optimization, customer advocacy, CRM, marketing automation, web analytics, and product analytics tools
- Excellent organization, attention to detail, judgment, and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently, manage multiple deadlines, and adapt in a fast-paced environment

Education & Experience
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in product marketing, software marketing, go-to-market strategy, growth marketing, or a related role required
- Demonstrated experience marketing a software product and partnering directly with Product and Sales teams required
- Experience owning or materially contributing to software product launches, positioning, sales enablement, customer communication, and performance reporting required
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Product Management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
- Experience in K-12 education technology, IT operations, asset management, help desk software, SaaS, product-led growth, or a freemium software model preferred
- Experience marketing to technical evaluators, IT leaders, or public-sector organizations preferred
Additional Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computer
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively in a remote or distributed work environment
- Ability to participate in webinars, customer interviews, presentations, and live training sessions
- Ability to travel up to 15% for conferences, customer meetings, team gatherings, and company events
