Corrpro Canada is a technology-enabled Cathodic Protection services company that provides construction, inspection, engineering, materials management and custom software and hardware to deliver innovative and data-driven corrosion management solutions. We are seeking a temporary full-time Junior IT Support Specialist to provide frontline technical support to Corrpro Canada, Inc. employees across office, remote, and field environments. This temporary role assists with daily IT operations, end-user support, device deployment, Microsoft 365 administration, and IT projects. Working under the direction of the IT Manager, the successful candidate will help ensure reliable and efficient technology services while gaining experience across various areas of information technology.

WHAT YOU’RE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
- Providing first-level technical support for hardware, software, mobile devices, printers, and peripheral equipment.
- Responding to IT service requests and troubleshooting user issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Assisting employees with Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Office applications.
- Supporting remote and field personnel with connectivity and device-related issues.
- Escalating unresolved technical issues to senior IT Operations Analyst as required.
- Assisting with employee onboarding and offboarding activities, including account creation, device setup, and access changes.
- Configuring and deploying laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and related equipment.
- Supporting administration functions within Microsoft 365, including Teams, SharePoint, Exchange Online, and Entra ID.
- Supporting Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), password resets, and access management processes.
- Assisting with IT projects, technology rollouts, equipment refreshes, and system upgrades.
- Supporting data gathering, testing, and documentation activities for new technology initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Diploma, certificate, or currently pursuing post-secondary education in Information Technology, Computer Systems Technology, or a related field.
- Up to 2 years of experience in an IT support, help desk, or technical support role.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 applications.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware, mobile devices, printers, and networking concepts.
- Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
Preferred
- Exposure to Microsoft 365 administration, Microsoft Intune, and Entra ID.
- Familiarity with SharePoint, Teams, and Power Platform solutions.
- Experience supporting remote or hybrid users.
- Microsoft Fundamentals, CompTIA A+, or related certifications.
