Title: Lot Attendant

Hiring immediately!

Pay: $15.00/hr

Part-Time/Seasonal -Weekends are MANDATORY

Schedules/shifts available: Monday-Friday 3pm-closing time // Saturday & Sunday 7am-3pm, 10am-6pm, 12pm-8pm, 1pm-9pm, or 3pm-closing time.

No offensive visible tattoos. No face tattoos.

Hiring Event Information:

  • Open Interviews willstartWednesday, Sept 2nd - Friday, Sept 4th from 8:00am-6:00pm. After that, open interviews will continue every Monday-Friday 8:00am-6:00pm until further notice.
  • Address:SAGE Parking Facility Atlanta Botanical Garden1345 Piedmont Ave NE,Atlanta, GA 30309
  • Parking Instructions:Applicants should enter the parking garage from the Piedmont Avenue/Atlanta Botanical Garden entrance and pull a parking ticket upon entry.Please proceed to Level 4 of the parking garage. The parking office is located next to the singular elevator. Please bring your parking ticket with you to the interview, as parking will be validated.

The Spirit of the Position:

TheEvent/LotAttendantmembers are the front-line personnel responsible for greeting, engaging, and interacting with all customers attending Atlanta Botanical Garden andPiedmont Parkevents.

Principal Job Duties:

  • Meet and greet each customer with courtesy and great customer service.
  • Understand the surroundings and event details to answer questions
  • Accurately distribute tickets (proof of purchase) to each customer.
  • Expedite the traffic flow in a timely fashion.
  • Adhere to dress code Must be able to work outside in any weather conditions (rain, snow, wind, heat, etc.) and be able to continuously stand for extended periods of time (3-6 hours)
  • Follow all safety standards.
  • Must be able to work the full event season. Events are scheduled days, nights weekends, and some Holidays.
  • Communicate with management, supervisors and traffic directors.
  • Answer customer service questions concerning parking and the answer general customer inquiries in a courteous, professional and effective manner and refer questions to the supervisor when applicable.
  • Will be expected to take direction from Managers, Supervisors and emergency responders during emergencies.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Experience:

  • 1+ years in a customer service role
  • Parking industry experience is preferred but not required.
  • Previous experience working in outdoor/extreme weather conditions preferred.

Skills:

  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively.
  • Must be able to work unsupervised.
  • Ability to speak, read, and comprehend the English language.
  • Must be able to work standing-up/on-feet for extended periods of time.

Physical Demands:

  • Willingness to work in the elements -- heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.
  • Ability to lift, push and pull at least 15 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk and run for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift.
