Beehive is committed to grow and advance the defense industrial base while manufacturing exclusively in the USA. This role will be located at our Cincinnati, Ohio facility.
Role Overview
Performs inventory control and material management activities to maintain inventory accuracy, support production schedules, and ensure efficient material flow throughout the facility. Independently completes inventory transactions, cycle counts, receiving, staging, and shipment preparation while utilizing inventory systems and standard processes.
What You’ll Do...
- Maintain inventory accuracy through daily inventory transactions, cycle counts, and discrepancy resolution
- Perform routine cycle counts and reconcile inventory variances
- Identify inventory discrepancies and partner with operations and supply chain teams to resolve issues
- Receive inbound materials, validate packing lists, and complete system receiving and put-away activities
- Perform material movement and staging to support production work centers
- Prepare outbound shipments including small parcel, LTL, and freight shipments with accurate documentation
- Track parts throughout the facility and support production priorities based on schedule demand
- Perform final visual checks for quality, quantity, and documentation accuracy before shipment or storage
- Maintain organized warehouse areas including labeling, rack organization, and material locations
- Operate pallet jacks and forklift equipment safely after certification
- Utilize ERP systems, inventory tools, Microsoft Excel, and Word to maintain accurate records

Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
Experience
- Typically requires a minimum of 1–2 years of related experience
- Experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, stockroom management, logistics, or manufacturing environments
- Experience performing cycle counts, inventory transactions, and reconciliation activities
- Experience using ERP or inventory management systems preferred
- Experience operating pallet jacks and forklifts preferred
Skills & Competencies
- Strong attention to detail with ability to accurately count, track, and reconcile inventory
- Ability to independently complete assigned tasks and escalate issues appropriately
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to work effectively with operations, supply chain, and production teams
- Ability to adapt to changing production demands and priorities
- Basic understanding of inventory control principles and material flow processes
- Strong ownership mindset and follow-through
- Ability to obtain forklift certification if not already certified
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Physical Requirements
- Remain in a standing or sitting stationary position for 3–4 hours per day (1–2 hours at one time)
- Move about 5–6 hours per day (1–2 hours at one time)
- Frequently lift or carry objects between 26–45 pounds
- Frequently push or pull objects between 26–45 pounds
- Occasionally reach at or below shoulder level and occasionally reach overhead
- Frequently use hands and fingers to handle or operate objects, tools, or controls
- Occasionally bend, stoop, or twist
- Occasionally crouch, kneel, and squat
- Occasionally operate heavy machinery
- Frequently keyboard and perform computer-based tasks
- Effectively communicate in person and through telephone or electronic communication
