Financial Analyst in Tupelo, Mississippi at Community Eldercare Services, LLC

Are you analytical, detail-oriented, and motivated by turning numbers into meaningful business insights? We are looking for a Financial Analyst to join our team and help support informed financial and operational decision-making.

In this role, you will analyze financial data, prepare reports, monitor performance, identify trends, and provide insights that help leadership understand the organization's financial position and opportunities for improvement.

• Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
• Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes.
• Monitor actual results against budgets and forecasts and investigate significant variances.
• Develop and maintain financial models, spreadsheets, dashboards, and reporting tools.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning activities.
• Research and analyze business performance, costs, revenues, and other financial metrics.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support business decisions.
• Collaborate with accounting, operations, leadership, and other departments to gather and validate financial information.
• Assist with identifying opportunities to improve financial performance, efficiency, and cost management.
• Ensure financial data is accurate, complete, and presented in a clear and understandable manner.
• Assist with special projects, financial analysis, and other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, budgeting, or a related field preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
• Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to analyze complex information and communicate findings clearly.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with ERP, accounting, or financial reporting systems is a plus.
