EEC Solutions is looking for an Instructional Systems Designer (ISD) to support the Civilian Associate Degree Program (CADP) at the Civilian Leadership Development School.

Summary of Responsibilities
The ISD designs and develops courseware for the Civilian Leadership Development School with primary support to the CADP program. The ISD executes course development project plans, applies the full ADDIE model, writes course objectives and Student Learning Objectives using Bloom’s Taxonomy, ensures Section 508 compliance, documents functional and design requirements, and reviews online courses against Air Force and accreditation guidance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Execute course development project plans for new courses, maintenance, and revisions.
Apply all ADDIE phases using Government‑provided materials or approved research.
Develop or modify course objectives and SLOs using Bloom’s Taxonomy.
Design all materials to meet Section 508 accessibility requirements.
Document functional and design requirements for courseware and digital platforms.
Review online course formats against AFH 36‑2235 Vol 10, Air University instructions, and SACSCOC guidance.
Conduct quarterly quality checks of developed learning content.
Follow all DAF, AETC, Air University, Global College, CLDS, and CADP Handbook schedules and policies.

Minimum Qualifications
Required Education
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.

Required Experience
Three years of instructional design and learning program development experience.
One year of experience working in an LMS environment (Canvas, Blackboard, etc.).
One year of experience in an academic environment including instructor duties and curriculum development.

Required Certifications / Training
Completed training in Instructional Systems Design, Training, and Education.

Special Requirements
Must obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC) including fingerprint check and Tier 1 background investigation.
Must have a REAL ID‑compliant credential for base access.
On‑site at Maxwell–Gunter Annex; relocation to the Montgomery, AL commuting area required.
Able to work 0730–1630 Monday–Friday and adjust hours when required.

Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in ISD, Instructional Technology, or Education.
Experience applying AFH 36‑2235 Vol 10 and SACSCOC accreditation standards.
Advanced proficiency in Articulate 360 and Adobe Captivate.
ATD CPTD or similar credential.

Work Conditions
Full‑time schedule, approximately 0730–1630 Monday–Friday.
On‑site at Maxwell–Gunter Annex; resident courses may occur on base or in the local area.
Situational telework may be permitted as determined by the Government.
Mandatory annual Cyber Awareness, Force Protection, DoD CUI, Privacy Act, and installation‑specific training.
