Sr. Manufacturing Engineer in Reykjavík, Reykjavíkurborg at Nox Health Group, Inc.

We are looking for a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer to join our Supply Chain team and take ownership of relationships with manufacturing partners and key component suppliers. In this role, you will lead technical problem-solving, root cause investigations, and component risk management, which are key to ensuring Nox can scale production reliably as global demand grows.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the technical relationship with manufacturing partners and key component suppliers, acting as Nox’s technical representative and lead point of contact.
• Lead technical qualification of new suppliers and contract manufacturers, and approve supplier-driven process and component changes.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate component and manufacturing risks affecting product quality, supply continuity, or scalability.
• Lead technical investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective actions with suppliers, driving issues through to resolution.
• Drive production transfer and new product introduction into production, partnering with R&D, Quality, and Regulatory to ensure changes are properly assessed, validated, and documented.
• Drive continuous improvement with manufacturing partners on quality, yield, manufacturability, and cost, using performance data to find trends and recurring issues.
• Shape the technical side of Nox’s supplier manufacturing strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant engineering field such as Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of hands-on engineering experience in product manufacturing processes or working with contract manufacturers and suppliers.
• Strong technical expertise with a demonstrated ability to independently assess complex issues, make sound engineering decisions, and drive them to resolution.
• Experience working in a regulated industry; medical device experience is preferred.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to represent Nox effectively with manufacturing partners and key suppliers.
• Ability and willingness to travel to manufacturing partners and supplier sites as needed
