Position Summary

Prepare, organize, and load finished metal building materials for shipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Stage and load materials according to shipping documents.
• Verify quantities, descriptions, dimensions, and condition.
• Arrange and secure materials for transport.
• Coordinate load sequence with shipping personnel and drivers.
• Use authorized material-handling equipment safely.
• Assist with unloading and material movement.
• Report damaged, missing, or incorrect materials.
• Maintain load documentation and product identification.
• Keep loading areas organized and hazard-free.
• Follow PPE, safety, quality, and housekeeping requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Ability to read shipping documents, labels, and measurements.
• Ability to perform physical work in manufacturing and outdoor conditions.
• Ability to work around long and heavy materials.
• Dependable attendance and commitment to accurate work.

Preferred Qualifications

• Loading, shipping, warehouse, manufacturing, or construction experience.
• Forklift, overhead-crane, or steel-handling experience.
