Are you looking for meaningful part-time work where you can use your organizational and people skills to make a difference in your community?

C-U at Home is seeking a Part-Time Volunteer & Event Coordinator to help engage volunteers, coordinate events, and connect individuals and community groups with our mission. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, organizing details, building relationships, and creating positive experiences.

This position offers a flexible schedule of approximately 20 hours per week, with some increased hours around major events.

Some evening or weekend availability will be needed for events.

What You'll Do

· Recruit, welcome, train, schedule, and support individual volunteers and volunteer groups

· Help create meaningful opportunities for volunteers to engage with C-U at Home

· Coordinate volunteer schedules and in-kind donations from individuals, churches, businesses, and community groups

· Help recognize and appreciate our volunteers

· Coordinate C-U at Home events and assist with third-party fundraising and awareness events

· Assist with donor and community engagement

· Help communicate C-U at Home's mission and impact

· Work closely with the Executive Director and other team members

· Represent C-U at Home professionally and positively in the community

Requirements:

What We're Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is organized, dependable, flexible, welcoming, and comfortable working with a wide variety of people.

Qualifications include:

· Associate's degree in a related field or at least two years of relevant volunteer coordination experience

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

· Good judgment and the ability to adapt when plans change

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Comfortable using Microsoft and Google tools

· Ability to build positive relationships with people from diverse social and economic backgrounds

· Experience working with volunteers, events, nonprofits, or community organizations is a plus

· Experience with or a passion for serving individuals experiencing homelessness is preferred
