POSITION SUMMARY
What You'll DoGround handling, GSE, hotels, transportation, permits, slots, and any other trip-specific requirements — if the flight needs it, you confirm it.
Cost negotiationsInvoice filing with the CC portal, including memos and class codingAdditional responsibilitiesMaintain a real-time coordination checklist/status board for each flight and communicate readiness status to leadership.Escalate gaps, conflicts, or at-risk items early — before they become delays.Conduct post-flight debriefs on coordination breakdowns and feed lessons learned back into the process.Support irregular operations (IROPs), recovery planning, and short-notice trip builds.What We're Looking For2+ years of experience in airline operations, dispatch, crew scheduling, charter coordination, or a related aviation operations role (Part 121/135 environment strongly preferred).Working knowledge of flight release/dispatch processes, crew legality basics, MEL procedures, and international clearance requirements (CBP/APHIS) preferred.Exceptional organizational skills and follow-through; comfortable managing many simultaneous open items under time pressure.Strong communicator who can coordinate across departments and hold vendors and stakeholders to commitments.Proficiency with Microsoft Excel/Office and scheduling/operations software (SkedFlex or similar a plus).Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays — charter operations run around the clock.Must be able to work on-site at GSO and pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check; must be authorized to work in the U.S.Physical Requirements & Work Environment
- Frequent crawling, bending, kneeling, climbing, stooping, and working in confined spaces.Work in elevated areas, including on stands, ladders, and aircraft surfaces.
Willingness and ability to work outdoors and on the ramp in varying weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold.
Exposure to elevated noise levels, aircraft fluids, chemicals, and jet blast; use of required personal protective equipment.
Frequent travel to airport and aircraft field locations with minimal notice.
