Building Maintenance in Montgomery, Alabama at Triosim Corporation

The Building Maintenance role is responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and functional shop environment at Triosim's Montgomery, AL facility. This role supports daily shop operations through general facility maintenance, material handling, and vehicle-based logistics, while providing backup support for surface preparation and coating tasks including sandblasting and painting.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop floor, work areas, restrooms, and common spaces, including sweeping, mopping, and general housekeeping duties.
• Load and unload incoming and outgoing deliveries, verifying quantities and condition of materials, parts, and equipment.
• Perform pressure washing of shop equipment, company vehicles, parts, and facility surfaces as directed.
• Provide backup support for painting and abrasive blasting (sandblasting) operations, following established safety and surface-preparation procedures.
• Operate a company vehicle to complete parts runs, pick up supplies, and deliver packages between the Montgomery facility and vendors, customers, or other company locations.
• Perform routine building maintenance and minor repairs; report facility and equipment issues to the Shop Supervisor.
• Follow all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) when performing painting, blasting, pressure washing, and material handling tasks.

Qualifications & Requirements
• Prior experience in a shop, warehouse, industrial maintenance, or similar physical labor environment preferred.
• Ability to safely operate pressure washing equipment and assist with abrasive blasting/painting equipment (on-the-job training provided).
• Must possess and maintain a valid, unrestricted driver's license with a clean, acceptable driving record (see Compliance & Legal Requirements below).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including standing, bending, climbing, and repetitive motion for extended periods.
• Ability to work safely around industrial chemicals, coatings, and abrasive materials.
