Job Description
The Sawyer County Sheriff’s Office is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Records & Civil Process Clerk. This position plays a key role in supporting daily operations and serving the public in a professional and efficient manner.
Position Summary
This position is responsible for performing a variety of administrative and clerical duties, including assisting the public both in person and by telephone, processing civil process documents, responding to open records requests, releasing documents, and receipting payments.
Minimum Qualifications
• Minimum of 18 years of age
• Valid Wisconsin Driver’s License
• Previous office and customer service experience required
• Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations; Ability to work both independently and in a team
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions and adhere to established procedures
Wages and Benefits
This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) with a starting wage of $20.67 - $21.52 DOQ. Sawyer County offers a competitive benefits package including:
