Position Summary:
We are seeking a dependable Machine Operator to support daily manufacturing operations by safely operating production equipment and ensuring consistent product quality. This role focuses on running machines, monitoring output, and following safety and quality standards.
Training is provided, making this a great opportunity for individuals with mechanical aptitude who are eager to learn and grow in a manufacturing environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate production machinery safely and efficiently
- Load and unload materials and monitor product output for quality and accuracy
- Follow work instructions, production schedules, and quality standards
- Perform basic machine adjustments and report issues to maintenance as needed
- Assist with machine setups and changeovers under supervisor guidance
- Maintain clean, organized machines and work areas
- Complete basic production logs, checks, and documentation
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies at all times
- Communicate effectively with team members and report concerns promptly
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 1+ year of manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred (not required)
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 75 lbs
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable attendance and positive attitude
- Flexibility to work different shifts as needed
