Job Description
We are hiring a Maintenance Technician for our Textile Apartments and Textile Lofts properties located in Cincinnati, OH . You will help uphold “People First” philosophy by ensuring our communities remain clean, well-maintained, and welcoming for residents, tenants, and guests. Where You Will Work
You will work at The Textile Apartments, our modern new and recently renovated residential properties located in historic downtown Cincinnati, minutes away from Paycor Stadium. This property features 282 - unit Class - A apartments with sleek interiors, modern amenities, well - lit spaces and a variety of community benefits. In addition you will have the opportunity to lease up our sister property, Textile Lofts, our adjacent 102 unit Class - A property, currently under redevelopment and opening in early 2026.
What we offer
- Expected base pay rate of $26 - $28 per hour + Monthly Lease Renewal Commissions. You will be provided a base pay rate that is in line with your skills and experience as they relate to the requirements of the job.

Key Responsibilities
· Perform a variety of routine and preventive maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and appliance repairs. You will have very solid experience with performing routine repairs and service on PTAC units.
· Respond promptly and professionally to maintenance requests and emergencies, including participating in after-hours on-call rotations.
· Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to maintain TBC’s high standards.
· Maintain common areas, amenities, and grounds-including trash removal, landscaping, and snow/ice removal as needed.
· Document work performed, manage inventory of supplies, and ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations.
· Collaborate with property management and other team members on special projects and unit turnovers.
· Communicate courteously with residents, staff, vendors, and contractors, reflecting TBC’s commitment to service and professionalism.
· Uphold the dress code and represent the company’s values of integrity and respect
Requirements
· High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school preferred.
· 2+ years of relevant maintenance experience, ideally in property or community management.
· Broad knowledge of building systems: plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general repairs.
· Ability to lift up to 70 lbs., perform physical tasks (bending, climbing, kneeling), and work indoors/outdoors in various conditions.
· Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required.
Preferred Qualifications
· HVAC certification and CFC certification or relevant trade license strongly preferred.
· Experience with property management or maintenance software.
