Banquet Server in Marana, Arizona at The Highlands at Dove Mountain

A Banquet Server sets up event spaces, serves food and beverages to guests, and ensures banquet events run smoothly. This role requires excellent customer service, teamwork, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Job Functions

Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including tables, chairs, linens, and decorations.

Greet guests professionally and provide exceptional customer service.

Serve food and beverages promptly and accurately.

Refill drinks and clear tables throughout the event.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the banquet area.

Assist with buffet setup and replenishment when required.

Follow food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.

Work closely with banquet captains, kitchen staff, and event coordinators.

Break down and clean the event space after functions.

Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve concerns courteously.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous restaurant, catering, or banquet experience is an asset but not always required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 30–50 pounds.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work efficiently as part of a team.
