Senior Software Engineer & AI Consultant

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Software Engineer & AI Consultant based in Brazil.

This role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of advanced software engineering and generative AI, creating innovative solutions that deliver measurable business impact.
You will design, develop, and deploy AI-powered systems using modern platforms, architectures, and cloud technologies.
The position combines hands-on engineering with strategic problem-solving to help organizations adopt and scale AI capabilities.
You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, product leaders, architects, and AI specialists, in a highly innovative environment.
Your work will contribute directly to improving AI adoption, operational efficiency, and the development of intelligent products and services.

Accountabilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement scalable generative AI solutions, including AI agents, automation tools, and intelligent workflows that address complex business needs.
  • Build and optimize AI applications using leading platforms and frameworks such as AWS Bedrock, Gemini, OpenAI SDK, and Claude AI.
  • Develop Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, agentic architectures, and AI-powered systems that move beyond basic API integrations.
  • Support AI users through structured troubleshooting, incident management, and technical issue resolution following established methodologies such as PDCA and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
  • Create internal tools, automation scripts, and custom AI agents to improve workflows, operational efficiency, and user experiences.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, knowledge bases, best practice guides, and standardized resolution playbooks.
  • Monitor and analyze operational performance indicators, including Average Handling Time (AHT), First Response Time (FRT), First Time Resolution (FTR), SLA compliance, and AI adoption metrics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into production-ready AI solutions.
  • Participate in operational routines, including stand-ups, service reviews, governance meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Strong experience in software development, prompt engineering, and integrating solutions powered by Large Language Models (LLMs), particularly AI assistant and agent-based solutions.
  • Advanced backend development skills using Python and Node.js to build automation workflows, AI agents, scripts, and internal productivity tools.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, including AWS services and container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of modern connectivity solutions, messaging platforms, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) concepts.
  • Experience applying structured technical problem-solving approaches, including PDCA, incident management, and Root Cause Analysis.
  • Familiarity with ticketing platforms, documentation systems, internal knowledge bases, and enterprise collaboration tools.
  • Ability to analyze operational data and create dashboards or reports focused on technical performance indicators and service quality.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with international teams and technical stakeholders.
  • Advanced English proficiency is required for daily interaction with global teams, AI leaders, and users.
