Job Description
This is a full-time, onsite position supporting one of the world's leading R&D equipment manufacturers in San Jose, CA. This role requires travel to customer locations throughout California as project needs require.
How You'll Shape Our Success
As a Low Voltage Electrical Installer, you'll work onsite with a leading global R&D equipment manufacturer, installing gas detection systems, life safety controls, and low-voltage electrical systems that help keep people, facilities, and operations safe.
From new installations to system upgrades, you'll deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced, technical environment where your craftsmanship, attention to detail, and commitment to safety make a real impact every day.
What You'll Take Ownership Of
System Installation – Install gas detection systems, sensors, transmitters, duct mounts, PLC panels, battery backup systems, pull stations, horn/strobes, photohelic pressure switches, and other life safety devices.
Electrical Installation – Perform conduit installation, pipe bending, wire pulling, termination, and pre-wire electrical systems for new installations.
Control Wiring – Pull, terminate, and test CAT6 and multi-conductor control wiring while ensuring quality workmanship and compliance with project specifications.
Panel Work – Install and work within PLC control panels while following established electrical safety practices.
Documentation & Quality – Maintain accurate work records, follow installation manuals, and ensure all work meets customer specifications and applicable codes.
Safety & Compliance – Adhere to company safety standards, legal regulations, and customer site requirements while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Team Collaboration – Work closely with project managers, technicians, and customer personnel to successfully complete installations on schedule.
Perks, Pay, and Benefits
Earn $45.00–$55.00 per hour, based on experience.

What You'll Bring
2–5 years of experience installing low-voltage electrical or controls systems.
Experience with conduit installation, pipe bending, wire pulling, and electrical terminations.
Experience installing or working within PLC control panels.
Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, installation manuals, and technical documentation.
Knowledge of low-voltage electrical systems and life safety controls.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Positive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to pass a criminal background check.
