Restaurant Waiter/Waitress in ONAWA, Iowa at Casino Omaha

Position Summary:

Responsible for providing prompt, efficient and courteous service to customers in the Restaurant area, on an assigned shift, and assist other restaurant and bar personnel as needed. Contribute to each guest a positive experience from the time they arrive until they depart.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Greet Guests and take orders.

As a waitress/waiter you need to have the ability to accomplish many tasks simultaneously;

Must be organized;

Provide information to customers as needed;

Be able to work under stressful conditions;

Safe and responsible sales and service of alcohol;

Must be knowledgeable of all beverage and menu items sold;

Restaurant Associates must be on time for work and present on scheduled days. Associates must also be present for mandatory trainings and meetings;

Assist in maintaining a safe work environment;

Adhere to the policies and procedures as stated in the Blackbird Bend Casino team member handbook;

Assist supervisor and fellow employees as necessary;

Other duties as assigned;

Minimum Qualifications

Works in areas with varying or excessive levels of noise, crowds, smoke, hazards, such as cleaning chemicals;

Ability to communicate with customers and employees;

Requires prolonged periods of being on your feet;

Light/moderate lifting required;

Must be a TEAM player;

Customer service experience needed;

Be available to work evenings, holidays and weekends;

Must be a minimum of 18 years of age or older upon employment;

Must have a High School Diploma or GED;

Must attend trainings as needed;

Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Gaming License
