- Develop and execute regional sales strategies to acquire new customers and expand existing customer relationships.
- Build a strong understanding of technical solutions and communicate their value effectively to scientific and commercial audiences.
- Manage customer relationships throughout the sales cycle, from initial engagement to long-term partnership development.
- Identify customer needs and provide tailored solutions that create value for both customers and the business.
- Achieve quarterly and annual sales objectives while maintaining accurate forecasts and pipeline visibility.
- Develop and manage strategic account plans and regional sales activities.
- Present solutions confidently during customer meetings, negotiations, and technical discussions.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Customer Service, Sales teams, and other internal stakeholders to align activities and maximize opportunities.
- Maintain accurate customer information, sales activity, and forecasting data within CRM systems.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and advances in next-generation sequencing technologies.
- Advocate for customer satisfaction by ensuring high-quality support and continuously improving the customer experience.
- Travel regularly across the region to support customer relationships, meetings, and business development activities.
You are an experienced commercial professional with a strong scientific background and a proven ability to build customer relationships in a technical sales environment. You combine strategic thinking, consultative selling skills, and a passion for helping customers achieve their goals.
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Biology, Genetics, Molecular Biology, or a related scientific field; advanced degree preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in life sciences, laboratory environments, sales, or related customer-facing roles.
- Strong understanding of genetics, molecular biology, and next-generation sequencing technologies.
- Proven experience developing strategic sales plans and growing key customer accounts.
- Demonstrated success managing complex sales cycles and achieving revenue targets.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to build trusted relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborative mindset with experience working effectively in team-based sales environments.
- Analytical approach with the ability to identify opportunities and develop effective solutions.
- Strong motivation to achieve results and create lasting customer partnerships.

- Fluency in English required; additional languages are a plus.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% for customer meetings and business activities.
