The Solutions Engineering Manager will lead a team of technical professionals while remaining hands-on in designing customer solutions, improving operational processes, and driving technical excellence. Key responsibilities include:
- Manage, mentor, and develop a team of solutions engineers, helping them evolve from reactive support execution toward proactive technical partnership.
- Establish team processes, technical standards, and best practices that improve efficiency, quality, and customer outcomes.
- Design and implement AI-powered workflows, automation systems, and self-service technical resources to reduce repetitive operational tasks.
- Monitor partner technical health, deployment success, performance indicators, and service commitments across key accounts.
- Act as the primary technical partner for strategic clients in Brazil, supporting complex integrations, architecture discussions, and troubleshooting sessions in Portuguese.
- Build custom technical solutions involving JavaScript, APIs, network requests, advertising technologies, and platform configurations.
- Investigate complex technical challenges, resolve edge-case issues, and proactively prevent customer-impacting problems.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to transform recurring customer challenges into scalable product improvements.
- Provide technical guidance, architectural input, and hands-on support for high-value implementations.
- Help define the future direction of the solutions engineering function through innovation and continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate is a technical leader with strong engineering experience, customer-facing skills, and a passion for AI-driven solutions. Required qualifications and skills include:
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, solutions engineering, or a related technical role.
- 1–2+ years of experience as a technical lead, team lead, engineering manager, or mentor responsible for supporting other engineers.
- Experience building or implementing AI-powered workflows, automation systems, LLM integrations, or knowledge management solutions.
- Native or fluent Portuguese communication skills and fluent English proficiency for collaboration with global teams.
- Strong knowledge of web technologies, including JavaScript (ES6+), HTML, CSS, REST APIs, and HTTP protocols.
- Experience debugging web applications using tools such as Chrome DevTools.
- Experience working in customer-facing technical roles such as Solutions Engineer, Technical Account Manager, or similar positions.
- Ability to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions that create measurable value.
- Familiarity with ad technology, Google Ad Manager, programmatic advertising, publisher monetization, WordPress platforms, SaaS products, or SDK integrations is highly desirable.
- Experience working in startup or fast-growing environments with a high degree of autonomy.
- Strong problem-solving skills, ownership mindset, and ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
