The Findlay Family Group of businesses has been in operation for over 100 years, and is currently in its fourth generation of family management with the fifth oncoming. Originally a local bread bakery, we grew into the largest plant bread producer on the East Coast of New Zealand. In the 1990's we further developed into manufacturing Panko bread crumbs, Conventional Breadcrumbs and Batter coating systems.

Findlay Food Coatings Ltd was established in 2013 to operate in the USA. Three Powder Blending sites were built in Idaho to provide Batter Coating solutions primarily to produce specialist coatings for french fries.

Findlay is a Family owned international company with a reputation for innovation, thinking outside of the box and delivering what it says it will. Our head office is located at the edge of the world in Gisborne, New Zealand.

We are currently looking for a dependable Warehouse Operator; work shift is Monday - Friday, working days 6:00am - 2:30pm. The roles could require some overtime. You will be required to, but not limited to, do the following activities:

1. Receiving goods; unloading and loading shipments ensuring proper allergen safety process.
2. Operate forklift, pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
3. Perform routine equipment checks and minor maintenance.
4. Lift up to 55 lb. bags, boxes or containers of ingredients to be used in the blending process.
5. Use scanners for delivery of ingredients and inventory control.
6. Sit, Kneel, stand, walk and lift to complete your duties throughout the shift.
7. Clean a warehouse facility where fine powders are stored.
8. Maintain effective communications and teamwork.
9. Follow (GMP) Good Manufacturing Practice at all times.
10. Drive trucks/yard dog for inter warehouse/plant transfers following all traffic and safety rules.
