What You'll Do
As a Medical Assistant, you'll provide both clinical and administrative support to help deliver outstanding patient care and ensure efficient daily clinic operations.
  • Room patients and obtain medical histories, vital signs, and test results
  • Prepare exam and treatment rooms, equipment, and instruments
  • Assist providers during examinations and in-office procedures
  • Administer medications under physician supervision
  • Assist with pre- and post-procedure patient care and transfers
  • Schedule appointments, follow-ups, and manage patient waitlists
  • Check patients in, verify information, and maintain accurate medical records
  • Manage medical supply inventory and stock exam rooms
  • Provide compassionate support to patients and their families
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and clinic policies
  • Complete required annual training
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience in a healthcare setting
  • Medical Assistant certification preferred (or required based on clinic needs)
  • Pain management, orthopedic, or spine experience is a plus, but not required
