HerKare powered by SynergenX is growing, and we're looking for a Full-Time Medical Assistant to join our WHRT Wellness Clinic in Fort Worth!

At HerKare, we provide personalized women's wellness programs focused on hormone replacement, nutrition, and weight management. You'll work alongside experienced healthcare professionals to create exceptional patient experiences and help patients reach their health and wellness goals.

No Medical Assistant certification required! We provide 2 full weeks of hands-on paid training to help you succeed.

What You'll Do

You'll be an important part of both the patient experience and clinical team. We're looking for someone who is ready to jump in, stay positive, and help keep the clinic moving.

  • Welcome and interact with patients in a friendly, professional manner
  • Perform manual patient vitals
  • Perform routine blood draws and venipuncture
  • Administer IM and subcutaneous injections as directed by the provider
  • Assist providers with minor procedures as needed
  • Maintain lab equipment and required documentation
  • Prepare and process in-house and outside laboratory testing
  • Complete quality control documentation and maintain sterilization standards
  • Assist with inventory, ordering, and clinic organization
  • Support front desk duties when needed
  • Work closely with providers and teammates to maintain efficient patient flow
  • Create a positive, welcoming experience for every patient

Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED – proof required
  • Minimum 3 months of relevant medical experience performing phlebotomy, injections, and vitals OR documented completion of 180 externship hours
  • 6 months of Medical Assistant experience preferred
  • Phlebotomy experience required
  • Experience assisting with minor procedures preferred
  • Medical Assistant or Phlebotomy certification preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of EMR systems, HIPAA, and sterilization practices
  • Must pass a criminal background check
Schedule

Full-Time | 40 hours per week

Employees must be available to work within the following clinic hours:

  • Monday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
  • Tuesday: 8:00 AM–7:00 PM
  • Wednesday: 8:00 AM–1:00 PM
  • Thursday: 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
  • Friday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
  • Saturday: 8:00 AM–12:00 PM

2–3 Saturdays per month required.
