Job Title: Senior FMS Acquisition Management Support

Job Description:

This position is a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Senior Acquisition Program Manager for the Medium Altitude UAS Division supporting the MQ-9 Reaper System Program Office and the FMS Branch.

Duties include applying knowledge and experience in FMS acquisition management and program management philosophy consistent with policies and procedures for systems, subsystems, and equipment procurement activities. Candidate must have experience in FMS activities and acquisition programs throughout their life cycles.

Familiarity with support utilizing the Defense Security Assistance Management System (DSAMS), Security Assistance Manpower Requirements System (SAMRS), and Air Force Security Assistance and Cooperation (AFSAC) On-Line is highly desired. Individual will assist with development of Pricing and Availability (P&A) documents, Letter of Offer and Acceptance (LOA) documents, Manpower Requirements Packages (MRP), Statements of Objectives (SOOs), and SOW, and reviewing of proposals and assure reviews are performed on export licenses, or other documentation submitted by Contractors for government review and release.

Employee will performs a wide range of FMS program management activities, such as: gathering program information; conducting analyses; assisting in acquisition strategy planning; assisting in pre-LOA and post-LOA document preparation; tracking, and scheduling; supporting program briefings; assisting in surveillance of weapon system prime contractor and subcontractor performance; assisting in determining program progress; and effectively communicating recommendations orally and in writing to AF FMS Customer. Foreign travel is involved with this position.

Required Skills/Education:

A Bachelor's degree and fourteen (14) years' experience in a field relevant to functional area; or a Master's degree and ten (10) years' experience in a field relevant to functional area; or eighteen (18) years in functional area without a degree. At least five (5) years of that experience must have been performed on DoD programs/projects.
