ABOUT US:
As a manufacturing startup dedicated to transforming the pontoon boat industry, Flamingo prioritizes innovation, performance, and quality to deliver exceptional on-water experiences. We’re currently seeking an experienced Warehouse & Material Logistics Supervisor to help us build and scale a high-performing manufacturing operation from the ground up.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
This position directs warehouse operations, receiving processes, and material handling teams to ensure smooth part flow across pontoon assembly lines. Responsibilities include supervising floor staff, driving incoming supplier quality control, managing non-conforming materials, and executing Return to Vendor

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Team Leadership & Receiving: Lead, train, and direct material handlers and receiving personnel;
optimize warehouse layouts, point-of-use line stocking, and raw material storage.
- Incoming Quality & Non-Conformance: Oversee incoming inspection protocols, maintain the non-conforming material holding area (MRB), and isolate defective or out-of-spec vendor components.
- Vendor Returns (RTV): Coordinate Return Material Authorizations (RMAs) with suppliers and purchasing; track corrective actions and maintain accountability for vendor credits/replacements.
- Subcontracting & Anodizing Logistics: Manage inventory staging, logistics, and scheduling for outsourced anodizing and secondary processing; ensure accurate count tracking and turnaround times for finished extrusions and components.
- Inventory & Process Improvement: Maintain inventory accuracy through routine cycle counts, minimize staging damages, and optimize part flow directly to pontoon assembly lines.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain,
Operations, or Logistics preferred.
- 3–5+ years in warehouse operations, receiving, or material control within a
manufacturing environment (marine, heavy assembly, or automotive preferred).
- Experience with ERP/WMS inventory systems, MRB
on-conformance procedures, fork truck/overhead crane operations, and tracking third-party vendor processes (e.g., anodizing, coating).
JOB EXPECTATIONS:
- The physical demands described below are representative to be able to successfully perform the essential functions of the position.
- Reasonable accommodations may be made to individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
