Culinary Assistant in Plymouth, Minnesota at Cassia

Allina Health Restorative Suites, a Senior Care Campus managed by Cassia, is hiring a Culinary Assistant to join our team in Plymouth, MN! This is a great opportunity for those seeking entry-level work or wanting to learn and grow in a healthcare setting. No experience is needed as we will provide training to set you up for success.

In this entry-level role, you will gain valuable knowledge and experience by serving our residents, employees, and family members’ meals in our TCU. Meal times and good food will always be a very important part of everyone's lives! Work with great staff in a fun environment!

Position Type: Part-time, working 2-3 shifts a week

Available Shifts (including every other weekend and rotating holidays):

• Provide excellent customer service to residents, staff, and families.
• Work within the department to provide quality and nutritious meals and service to residents.
• Assist with food preparation and serving meals to residents.
• Help maintain a clean and sanitary dietary department.
• Wash dishes and clean the kitchen and dining rooms.
• Assist residents, employees, and guests with a broad range of dietary needs.
• Perform other duties as needed.

• Prior restaurant or healthcare experience preferred but not required. We will train you!
• Strong communication skills to interact with residents and staff.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills.
