Method to assess remote work: I plan to meet regularly with the technician to discuss workflow and oversee work quality.
Job Description
- The Lichen and Bryophyte Technician will identify bryophytes and lichens in field samples (1 hr / week); analyze soil samples containing lichens and bryophytes (3 hrs / week); manage a complex data set (3 hrs / week); and perform complex data analysis (3 hrs / week).
Qualifications
- 1. Familiarity with lichen and bryophyte ID and ecology.
- 2. Strong data management and analysis skills.
- 3. Strong attention to detail.
- 4. Willingness and ability and learn complex new skills largely independently.
- 5. Strong communication skills.
