Job Summary:
Supply Chain Facility Managers, including titles of manager, distribution manager or operations manager, oversee the daily operations of supply chain including procurement, inventory, receiving, and distribution of medical supplies; manages staff,
This role ensures clinical staff have the right products at the right time, at the right cost without overstocking or wasting while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations and policies,
Facility managers implement, measure, and direct all supply chain activities for distribution services including procurement, perpetual inventory, receiving, and distribution under the direction of the site supply chain director (SSCD),
This position manages supply chain staff,
Education Required: High School diploma or equivalent
Additional Education Preferred: College degree preferred,
Licensure Required: No

Experience Required: Three to five years of hospital supply chain experience as well as management experience,

Job Responsibilities:
1,
Lead and manage staff; oversee distribution, receiving and logistics staff; hold staff accountable to regulatory, organizational, hospital and supply chain policies,
Ensure staff complete all mandatory enterprise and departmental education before established deadlines,

Manage end-to-end supply chain operations including but not limited to receiving, distribution, code cart, and inventory management,
3,
Monitor inventory and implement cost savings initiatives and product conversions,
4,
Ensure critical supplies such as personal protection equipment (PPE) are readily available; seek collaboration with clinical resource team to identify clinically appropriate substitutes and replacements,
5,
Analyze data and forecast demands across departments for accurate PAR level and inventory management,
6,
Manage inventory systems and supply chain technology including oversight of perpetual inventory ensuring the integrity of the perpetual stock,
7,
Lead process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste,
8,
Track and monitor all supply recalls through RWJBH recall tool and other recall notifications,
Collaborate with risk management to identify items by department following the RWJBH Recall Policy,
9,
Ensure use of UDI tissue tracking technology to comply with RWJBH Tissue Tracking Policy,
10,
Collaborate with Site Supply Chain Director (SSCD) to achieve established departmental key performance goals,
11,
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to include hospital clinicians, vendors, and site leadership,

Performs other duties as assigned,
