Job Overview

PoolTek is seeking a dependable, organized, and motivated Account Manager to support a high-volume portfolio of active customer accounts. In this role, you'll serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring a positive experience through proactive communication, problem-solving, and service coordination.

You'll work closely with customers, technicians, billing, sales, and leadership to remove obstacles, resolve concerns, and ensure every service visit is completed successfully. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, staying organized, and delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of active customer accounts

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through consistent communication and follow-up

  • Respond promptly to customer questions, concerns, and service requests

  • Coordinate with field technicians to resolve service issues and ensure successful job completion

  • Assist technicians by contacting customers, coordinating property access, and removing barriers that impact service

  • Provide customers with timely updates regarding appointments, work orders, and service requests

  • Monitor service quality and escalate recurring or high-priority issues when necessary

  • Support customer retention by delivering exceptional service and resolving concerns quickly

  • Coordinate communication between service, billing, sales, and repair teams to ensure a seamless customer experience

  • Maintain accurate customer records, service notes, and account updates within company systems

  • Track customer retention, cancellations, new accounts, and other key performance metrics

  • Generate reports and assist leadership with customer service and operational data

  • Perform related duties as assigned

Essential Skills and Experience
  • 1-3 years of experience in customer service, account management, client success, or a similar role

  • Experience in a home service, field service, route-based, or service industry preferred

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Customer-first mindset with outstanding problem-solving abilities

  • High level of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail

  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment

  • Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and other customer service software

  • Positive attitude with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments
