This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working closely with Finance leadership

What You'll Do

As the Staff Accountant – Accounts Receivable, you will serve as a key member of the Finance team responsible for ensuring the accurate processing, reconciliation, and reporting of cash receipts across the organization. You will actively monitor payment activity, investigate discrepancies, and work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and banking partners to resolve issues in a timely manner.

You will play an integral role in maintaining the integrity of the organization's cash activity by reconciling receipts to bank transactions, reviewing and approving deposits, and researching unusual or outstanding items. Your work will help ensure accurate financial records, strong audit documentation, and compliance with internal controls. In addition, you will support month-end and year-end reconciliation processes by analyzing cash activity and assisting with the preparation of supporting schedules and documentation.

Beyond accounts receivable responsibilities, you will assist with key banking functions, including processing ACH payment files, managing positive pay controls, and partnering with financial institutions to investigate and resolve transaction-related issues. You will also provide support for general ledger activities through account reconciliations, journal entries, financial analyses, and special projects as directed by the CFO. As a trusted member of the Finance team, you will contribute to month-end close activities and help ensure accurate, timely financial reporting for the organization
