Job Duties:

  • Educate customers on recommended services and repairs, explaining the "why" behind each solution before work begins.
  • Perform comprehensive evaluations of residential HVAC systems and present multiple repair or replacement options based on customer needs.
  • Deliver high-quality diagnostic, repair, maintenance, and installation services while maintaining the highest safety standards.
  • Test pipes, tubing joints, and connections for leaks using appropriate testing methods and equipment.
  • Test electrical circuits and components for continuity using industry-standard diagnostic tools.
  • Repair and replace defective equipment, components, wiring, and system controls.
  • Discuss heating and cooling system malfunctions with customers to accurately diagnose issues and verify completed repairs.
  • Ensure every customer receives a Five-Star service experience through professionalism, communication, and quality workmanship.
  • Serve as a technical resource and role model for fellow technicians, demonstrating best practices and company standards.
  • After completing onboarding and demonstrating proficiency, transition into a Field Trainer role by mentoring new technicians and apprentices through hands-on coaching, ride-alongs, and technical instruction.
  • Support the development of training materials, reinforce safety procedures, and help ensure consistent service quality across the team.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning, accountability, and excellence while helping new team members succeed.
Requirements:
  • 6-10+ years of residential HVAC service experience.
  • EPA Universal Certification required.
  • NATE Certification preferred.
  • Valid Colorado Driver's License with a clean driving record.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills with a passion for developing others.
  • Previous experience mentoring, training, or leading technicians is preferred but not required.
