Job Description

Position Summary

This is a client facing role where you will have ownership of the overall solution from a functional and technical perspective. Projects vary from short term strategic assignments like current state assessments, building of client roadmaps to technical implementations and upgrades. The expectation is to be able to lead teams in a variety of projects.

You are expected to have business process knowledge for forecasting and advanced scheduling as well as be able to configure UKG WFM Pro SWP, Forecasting and Advanced Scheduling modules. You are also expected to be well-versed with UKG methodologies for implementation, tools and templates. Prior experience with Retail, Hospitality, Manufacturing, Healthcare and / or S&D verticals is mandated.

Awareness of industry’s best practices and ability to lead clients through value realization approach while solutioning is strongly recommended.

Responsibilities:

  • Working in the full lifecycle of a UKG Pro WFM project or workstream including, Assessments, Discovery, Design, Build, Testing, Cutover and Support
  • Working with the project team and leading client workshops, discovery and design sessions to understand their business challenges, objectives, and needs
  • Ownership of team deliverables from a solutioning perspective
  • Recommend industry best practices for configuration building blocks
  • Develop customized solutions based on client requirements, ensuring that the UKG products are leveraged to their full potential to solve client problems and achieve business objectives
  • Lead, mentor, and collaborate with other consultants and project teams to ensure the successful delivery of UKG solutions
  • Travel will be on an as needed basis and dependent on the client

Competencies:

  • Subject matter expert in the following solutions: UKG Forecasting, Advanced Scheduling, Strategic Workforce Planning
  • Can take ownership of articulating solution design approaches leveraging story telling approach
  • Demonstrates ability to assess and solve problems quickly
  • Flexibility to work alternative hours, including evenings and weekends, when required based on project demands.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Business, or relevant experience
  • Five or more years of experience in Workforce Management Systems (UKG, ADP)
  • Have at least 5 implementations in UKG Pro WFM modules involving SWP, Forecasting, Optimized Scheduling, and have familiarity with other modules like Timekeeping, Accruals, Attendance Management as well as Boomi interfaces
  • Experience with labor management, forecasting, scheduling, budgeting and task management systems
  • Demonstrates strong PowerPoint, Word, and Excel-based abilities, including data analysis and data manipulation techniques
  • Strong work ethic and capability to work independently
  • Strong communication and presentation skills

Working conditions

Primary work environment is a Home Office. When Consultants are working from home, they are expected to set up and maintain a quiet, productive workspace with an appropriate workstation, a high-speed internet connection, and phone or cell phone connection, a printer, and all other necessary office supplies.

Work hours are primarily during normal business hours Monday through Friday but vary based on the client. On limited occasions, Configuration Analysts may be asked to work outside of these normal hours:

  • Time of day: Flexible work hours, but occasional evenings (5 PM - 10 PM) or overnight (10 PM – 6 AM) based on client needs
  • Day of week: Monday - Friday, weekends as necessary based on client needs
