RECORDS MANAGEMENT, SUMMER STUDENT
We are presently accepting applications from qualified individuals to fill the following position in our Administrative Team:
Records Management, Summer Student (2 positions)Position: Temporary Summer Student position Base Location: Brant
Start Date: ASAP, up to 8 weeks
Hours of Work: 8:30-4:30 (35 Hours per week)
Wage Rate: $17.60
CMHA Brant Haldimand Norfolk is seeking two motivated and detail-oriented Summer Students to provide administrative support to our team. This position offers valuable office experience while contributing to an important organizational project focused on records management and document organization and development.
Key Responsibilities
- Sort, organize, and prepare paper files for digitization.
- Scan and digitize documents according to organizational standards and procedures.
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of digitized files.
- Organize electronic records and maintain file naming conventions.
- Arrange for the disposal of paper records according to the Records Management policy.
- Perform general administrative duties, including filing, data entry, photocopying, and document preparation in support of HR and the CEO.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
- Support other administrative projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or returning to a secondary or post-secondary educational program.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Previous office or administrative experience is considered an asset but is not required.
