Reports To: VP of Commercial Operations

Safe Air Technology is seeking a Customer Project Manager (CPM) to support our largest and most strategic customer programs.

The CPM will follow assigned customer projects from order entry through engineering, procurement, manufacturing, testing, shipment, commissioning, service, and warranty. This role provides visibility across the entire project lifecycle, ensuring customer commitments are understood, critical actions are tracked, risks are identified early, and issues are followed through resolution.

This is not an operational management position. The CPM will work across departments without directing how those departments perform their work. The focus is coordination, visibility, follow-through, and escalation.

• Track customer projects from order entry through final delivery, commissioning, service, and warranty.
• Understand customer commitments, milestones, delivery dates, and critical project requirements.
• Coordinate across Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Testing, Commercial Operations, Service, and other departments.
• Track critical actions, deadlines, dependencies, and project milestones.
• Identify schedule, material, engineering, production, testing, or customer risks early.
• Work directly with responsible departments to communicate issues and support timely resolution.
• Follow open issues through completion and verify critical actions are being completed.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with internal teams and customers.
• Escalate unresolved issues when customer commitments or key milestones are at risk.
• Provide the VP of Commercial Operations with concise, fact-based updates on project health, customer commitments, risks, and areas requiring escalation or executive action.
• Maintain clear project status reporting.

• Experience in project management, customer program management, operations, manufacturing, engineering coordination, or a similar role.
• Manufacturing, industrial, engineered-to-order, HVAC, electrical, mechanical, or technical project experience strongly preferred.
• Strong project tracking, organization, and follow-through skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously.
• Strong customer-facing communication and relationship management skills.
• Ability to identify risk early, ask the right questions, and escalate issues appropriately.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable working with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
• PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.

We are looking for someone who is proactive, persistent, organized, and customer-focused. This person should naturally ask:

What did we promise? What needs to happen next? Who owns it? When is it due? Is it actually happening? What could put the customer commitment at risk?

This is a newly created, high-impact position with significant visibility across the organization. The CPM will work closely with the VP of Commercial Operations and cross-functional leadership to help ensure Safe Air Technology delivers on its commitments to our customers.
