The Insurance Licensing Associate plays a vital role in ensuring that all agents, adjusters, and relevant personnel maintain proper licensing in compliance with state regulations. This position supports the licensing team by managing applications, renewals, and compliance tracking, and serves as a liaison between internal departments, regulatory agencies, and other organizational stakeholders to ensure collaboration and seamless operations.
Job Responsibilities
- Process and track insurance license applications, renewals, and terminations for agents and adjusters across multiple states.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in licensing databases and systems.
- Monitor regulatory changes and ensure compliance with state licensing requirements.
- Communication with state departments of insurance to resolve licensing issues or discrepancies.
- Assist with onboarding new agents by verifying licensing credentials and coordinating appointments.
- Generate reports and provide updates regarding licensing status.
- Support audits and internal reviews related to licensing and regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate with various members of the licensing department as well as other organizational teams to ensure collaboration and alignment on licensing matters.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications

- Read/comprehend insurance department directives and bulletins
- Read/comprehend/document and carry out written and verbal instructions
- Review records for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to guidelines
- Ability to work independently
Preferred Knowledge:
- At least 1 to 2 years’ work experience directly related to either Insurance Agent or Insurance Adjuster licensing preferred
- Experience working in a multi-state insurance environment
- Familiar with state laws and regulations on license and appointment requirements
- Insurance and legal terminology

In accordance with pay transparency laws and regulations, the following good faith compensation range estimate is being provided. The salary range for this position is $50,000- $60,000 per year. Final compensation will be based on candidate qualifications, geographic location, and other considerations permitted by law.
